The Jump in the Lake Challenge is Back!

Dive into Fundraising for the Wellness Centre!

The new Summit Wellness Centre will provide a hub for community health in the Northern Kawartha Lakes and will include more doctors, after-hours care, physiotherapy, dental, a community meeting space, and other complementary services that will benefit both full-time and seasonal residents.

The Summit Wellness Centre will have a long-term impact on our communities - not only for our health & wellness, but also with construction jobs, good-paying year-round jobs, and a positive impact on our local businesses, too!

Let's build a healthy community together. Here's how it works!

The Jump in the Lake Challenge is a fun way to raise money for causes that matter to our communities. On May 7, 2022, participants will jump into the frigid waters - rain (snow, hail, sleet) or shine! Are you brave enough to take the plunge? Donate or take on the challenge today!

In 2020, local residents, Dean Michel & Jennifer Bacon, created a fun, socially distanced campaign to raise funds and awareness. More than 20 people braved the cold spring water, raising upwards of $15,000 for their community.  Last year, almost 40 participants raised more than $53,000 for the Wellness Centre!

The Coboconk, Norland & Area Chamber of Commerce and Medical Centre Trust Association are partnering together to bring health and wellness to our northern communities.
